We had our first Peking duck at Quan Ju De the first week we were in Beijing. It was quite exciting for us back then, but we never got to having it again, and we finally had it again , this time in our last week here.
We opted for Jing Yaa Tang, as we wanted a place that wasn't too crowded, but also some where we could have a nice authentic experience. We reserved a table closest to the kitchen so we could click some pictures.
You can choose to have half duck (138 RMB) or the full duck (238 rmb) which comes with the usual accompaniments (pancakes, cucumbers, scallions , fermented bean sauce and some crushed peanuts) The duck soup is an extra 48RMB. The chef comes to the table to carve out the meat.
Half duck is enough to share between two people, we also ordered some other dishes on the menu.
The ambience and service was perfect. We enjoyed the experience more than our first experience at Quan Ju De.
