Beijing's Golden Autumn

Beijing is at it's best in Autumn. Covered in yellow Ginko leaves , the city turns to a beautiful Golden color.
Most parks are usually crowded with people to see the colors of Autumn, and November is when Autumn is at its peak.
We headed Olympic Forest Park this weekend.Thankfully it was a lovely blue sky day.

The Olympic Forest Park , is a man-made forest that was opened for public during the 2008 Olympic Games that was held in Beijing. The park is open and all days and entrance is Free. The subway Line 10 has a stop at the South Gate of the Park. Since it is quite huge, it is a nice place to go spend a lazy afternoon - a perfect picnic spot. The park also has rides for kids and a wide jogging path. You can also hire cycles or electric cars to go around the park (costs between 60 - 100RMB for an hour). Right across the Park you can walk to the Olympic Bird's Nest and Water Cube stadiums to see it all lit up after sunset.
