A snowy start to Spring time

Just when we thought it was getting nice and warm for spring to begin, we woke up one weekend to snowflakes falling from Beijing's skies. It was a pleasant surprise to receive the first snowfall of the winter season.

The weather kept swinging between spring and winter but finally mid April and we had blossoms springing everywhere. We're enjoying the blooms before the buds burst open and catkins fill in the city. It is another kind of snow altogether then!
