Taste of Spain
We had a taste of Spain last weekend here in Beijing...
Nali Patio had hosted a Flamenco night with Spanish dancers, musicians and food. The event was by invitation only and we had a friend who got us passes. The Spanish restaurants at Nali (Fez bar, Migas, Agua, Carmen etc...) served Tapas.
We also enjoyed the show featuring Flamenco dancers and musicians. There was also a fusion perfomance with Chinese musical instruments
Last Friday night, we headed to Saffron, a Spanish and Mediterranean Restaurant at Wudaoying Hutong near the Lama Temple. We ordered the Bread basket with hummus, tapenade , guacamole dips and for maincourse Abhi and I shared the Lambshank with Couscous.
Food is excellent, but they could do with more pleasant service. We probably should probably go back sometime during the day to enjoy the outdoor seating.
