Shopping for Groceries in Beijing - Sanyuanli Market

This post is a photo tour of the Sanyuanli Market.

We usually head to the local market next to our compound to buy our veggies or fruits..
But for Meat and Sea food ..or things we don't get at the local market say - Avocados or Okra...we head to Sanyuanli.
The market is near the Sanyuan East Bridge on XinyuanLi Street right opposite the Post office.

The market is divided in to various sections and you get almost everything you need there...

The Entrance

As you enter - Colorful fruits - Both local and Imported

Dumplings, Steamed Buns, Bing ...they also sell Noodles that you can cook at home and also the Jiaozi Pianr (Dumpling "Skin" where you can just add the filling and make the dumplings)

Dairy Products - Imported Cereal, Cheese , Milk, Sauces etc...

Meat - Chicken , Mutton, Beef, Pork

Grains, Dry fruits and Oil - You also get Basmati Rice

Sea Food

 Vegetables -

Pet food

There's also the DongJiao Market , that's also quite popular among expats , but since Sanyuanli is closer to us we prefer going there.

Hope you'll enjoyed the photo tour...I'm off to make some yummy food with the fresh grocery I picked up! Cheers :-)
