FIFA and more!

FIFA Fever is at it's highest everywhere and it's the same here in Beijing. Sanlitun is the best to catch the game. The bar street is lined up with places that have their TV screens out, the Nali Patio has put up big screens as well. Only if we could stay awake at 4am  to really watch the games!

Summers =BBQ's! After hearing so many rave reviews of Home Plate BBQ, we finally went there over a weekend. There was live music and a good crowd. We ordered a few appetizers and thought the Okra fries were nice and munchy, but we were not a fan of the sandwiches. I ordered the BBQ Chicken Sandwich, and it was bit too tangy for my taste. Probably should have gone for their famed Pulled Pork sandwich instead! The food and drinks are quite reasonably priced.

The sunflowers have bloomed at the Olympic Park and is a nice picnic spot to make most of the summer.
