Happy Happy Happy! Plus review of Mosto

August is a happy month for us. Lots to celebrate with two birthdays in the family and the weather also has been so nice that it just makes you so *happy*

Review of Mosto in Sanlitun

I had read so many good reviews and heard so much about this place that we chose to celebrate me being a year older here.

The food is excellent. We had chosen the Roasted Cod fish and the Rack of Lamb for main course. It was tasty and just melted in the mouth. For dessert we had the Warm Chocolate Souffle with a hot white chocolate center served with Vanilla ice-cream which was so nice and gooey and yummy we couldn't have enough. Their bread is also served hot and fresh from the oven. So no complaints food wise.
The service is great too, you are given enough attention yet the privacy to enjoy your meal. No complaints there either.
We weren't happy about two things, one the baby chair being too small that a 2 year old wouldn't fit in...and the second thing was that the restaurant is not very quiet, so not a place to choose to have a long quiet dinner. Anyways, we could pass off both points considering we went in on a Saturday evening, and that we managed with our little son sitting on a regular chair. The food and service definitely made up for it.
A two course meal with drinks would cost about 600 kuai. Overall I'd rate it 8 on 10.

As mentioned in my previous post, Autumn's here. It's the Mid - autumn festival the coming weekend.
Hope to see many colorful lanterns lit up in the sky and have our share of mooncakes "yue bing"

Zhong Qiu Jie Kuai Le!
